Privacy and Confidentiality

In respecting your privacy, we do not under any circumstances share or distribute personal information entered into the web site, with any other people or companies, except as necessary to obtain payment clearance and ensure delivery.
When an online order is placed through Sala Art, we store information pertaining to the sale including name, address, email address and contact numbers. These are stored in our customer database to enable contact with you regarding the sale, or any issues that may arise post-sale.

You may also be contacted by us in future with notifications of any new product lines or sales, if you have indicated your consent to us at the time of ordering.

 

Security

All transactions with Sala Art are encrypted with an SSL certificate.

When you enter the checkout area of Sala Art, you are in a secure mode using encryption technology that prevents your credit card and personal information from being easily intercepted and used.

 

Order information

Please allow up to two weeks to hand-make and deliver your artwork. In many circumstances, your piece may arrive earlier.

Where possible, we will always endeavour to cater to alterations in designs, so if you have any special requests, please contact us directly to discuss them.

To track your order, please contact us and we will confer with our courier.

 

Shipping Information

We deliver artworks by courier, for a flat rate fee Australia-wide, up to four frames. For orders exceeding four frames, shipping fees are calculated on a case by case basis, depending upon weight, size and destination. We will contact you with charges in this instance.

Our courier will most often deliver in the mornings and a signature will be required for delivery. In the event that you are not available to sign for the delivery, a calling card will be left instructing pick-up from your local post office, where a signature will also be required. We are able to deliver to post office boxes. You will receive a card for a signature required pick-up item.

We go to lengths to ensure that your artwork is packaged for a safe journey, however our frames do include glass and are therefore fragile. In the unlikely event that your artwork is damaged in transit, please contact us immediately upon receipt and we will organise for our courier to collect and return it to us. We will arrange for another to be sent to you as soon as possible.

 

International shipping

We do accept international orders, however we cannot provide a shipping charge at the time of ordering. Your shipping fee will be dependant upon the weight and size of your specific order and its country of destination. We will contact you with your calculated shipping charge prior to processing your order, to seek your approval to proceed with the order and its associated postage fees.

 

Pricing

All prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of 10%GST. We reserve the right to change prices at our discretion

At this stage, we offer a permanent discount of 10% for orders of two frames or more. This offer may change at any time and be removed as a special note from our product pages, without warning.

3.Cheque made payable to Sala Art. Please note that your order will be shipped once payment has been cleared in our bank account.

 

Product Representation

Our best efforts are always made to provide an accurate photographic representation of the colours and textures in the artworks available. However, monitors do vary and therefore we cannot guarantee the exact appearance of the pieces on any one computer.

If you are at all concerned about colour matching to your existing room décor, please contact us prior to sale, and we will endeavour to send you small swatches of the fabrics within the artwork, depending upon availability.

For artworks involving scenes, where possible, pieces will be custom-made as represented in the photographs, depending upon fabric availability. No two scenes shall be duplicated in frames within sets.

 

Refund / Exchange Policy

As our artworks are hand-made specifically for you with your order, we regret that we cannot refund purchases, so please choose carefully. Where artworks are not personalised, that is, do not include a name or initial, you may exchange the artwork for another of equal value, or higher value with a payment of difference in cost.

In the event that you wish to exchange an artwork, the piece must be returned to us in its original packaging at your expense. You must accept the risk that artworks need to be received by us, undamaged and unmarked. Any further shipping of an alternate artwork must also be at your expense.

Cancellation

Our artworks are created by hand in a small studio, therefore if cancellation of an order is received in excess of 48 hours after placement, we must charge a cancellation fee of 30% of the purchase price to cover labour and materials already dedicated. To avoid disappointment and charges, we would ask that you please choose carefully and respect the small nature of our business.
